Tasting notes
Citrus yellow in color, this wine presents a pleasant pineapple aroma with slight tropical nuances, balanced by a touch of minerality. On the palate, it shows firm acidity, good fruit and volume, finishing in a balanced and persistent way.
Food Pairing
Given its freshness and balance, it is a wine that pairs well with seafood, fish, salads, and Italian cuisine.
Vinification
The grapes used for this wine come from two vineyard plots surrounding Quinta da Teixuga Winery. The vines, approximately 10 years old, are planted on granite soils at altitudes ranging from 400 to 500 metres above sea level.
Aging
The grapes were hand-harvested into 15 kg crates and carefully sorted by hand. After destemming and crushing, the grapes were pressed, separating the must from the skins. The must then underwent static settling for clarification.
