The much-awaited olive harvest traditionally begins in October.

On this special day, you can take part in the harvest, taste freshly pressed oils from three Portuguese olive varieties and enjoy a four-course lunch created in harmony with our gracious hosts: Quinta da Pacheca’s olive oils and wines.

The Quinta da Pacheca Olive Oil is a superior category extra virgin olive oil, obtained from our border olive groves in the heart of the Douro region, where the harvest is carried out manually with great care and respect for tradition. 

Extraction is performed exclusively through mechanical and cold-pressing methods, ensuring the maximum preservation of its organoleptic qualities: aroma, flavor, and texture.

This unique olive oil stands out for its distinctive Douro aromas, marked by exceptionally low acidity and delicate notes of rosemary, almond, and cocoa, revealing a full-bodied mouthfeel, persistence, and a subtle spiciness that elevates its complexity and elegance.

It is a seasonal experience where guests can take part in the olive harvest, explore the olive grove, taste Quinta da Pacheca’s freshly pressed single-varietal olive oils and enjoy a paired lunch.

The olive harvest usually begins towards the end of October. This experience is available until 6 November.

The experience includes a walk through the olive grove, participation in the harvest, a tasting of freshly pressed olive oils and a paired lunch. A curated selection of drinks is also included.

Cancellations made at least seven days before the scheduled date are eligible for a full refund.

For cancellations or reductions in the number of participants made less than seven days before the scheduled date, 100% of the original total amount will be charged.

Yes. Quinta da Pacheca may cancel the experience up to 24 hours in advance if the reserved spaces become unavailable or weather conditions prevent the program from taking place. In this case, guests will receive a full refund.
